Dermal Filler (Lip, 1.0ml)

Introduction

Dermal fillers give immediate results with little downtime to smooth away facial fine lines around the mouth also known as (smoker lines), forehead lines, nasolabial lines, and lips. Made from high-grade cross linked hyaluronic acid, dermal filler adds volume and smooths out wrinkles and creases helping to produce a smooth and natural look which can last up to 12 months. Treated areas will also be rejuvenated thanks to the hyaluronic acid. Dermal filler treatments can be tailored to smoothen the skin surface and subtly enhance the natural shape to achieve facial symmetry. Pre-treatment ► 10 days prior to the treatment: - Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Aleve®, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E as these may cause increase risk of bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). - Regular multi-vitamin and Tylenol® is permitted (If not contraindicated) - If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, please inform us - Avoid dental procedures - Avoid direct sun exposure 24 hours prior to the treatment: - Avoid alcoholic beverages as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s) - Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated - Eat a small meal or a snack before your appointment Aftercare ► - For facial injection, keep the head upright and avoid touching the area(s) for at least 6 hours after the treatment - Avoid heat exposure such as sunbed / sauna for at least 48 hours - Avoid strenuous activities or vigorous exercise for 24 hours - Avoid activities with high pressure such as diving and flying for 72 hours - Avoid any form of facial treatment or massage for 1 month - Avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks - Strictly no laser treatment for 2 weeks - Use SPF 50 daily.
