Pre-treatment ► 10 days prior to the treatment: - Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Aleve®, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E as these may cause increase risk of bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). - Regular multi-vitamin and Tylenol® is permitted (If not contraindicated) - If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, please inform us - Avoid dental procedures - Avoid direct sun exposure 24 hours prior to the treatment: - Avoid alcoholic beverages as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s) - Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated - Eat a small meal or a snack before your appointment Aftercare ► - Keep the head upright and avoid touching the area(s) for at least 6 hours after the treatment - Avoid heat exposure such as sunbed / sauna for at least 48 hours - Avoid strenuous activities or vigorous exercise for 24 hours - Avoid activities with high pressure such as diving and flying for 72 hours - Avoid any form of facial treatment or massage for 1 month - Avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks - Strictly no laser treatment for 2 weeks - Use SPF 50 daily.
