Dermal fillers for jawline enhancement are cosmetic treatments that involve the use of injectable substances, typically hyaluronic acid-based gels, to improve the definition and contour of the jawline. This non-surgical procedure is designed to address concerns such as a weak or undefined jawline, sagging skin, or asymmetry in the lower face. The dermal filler is injected into the targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula. Strategically injecting the dermal filler along the jawline can add volume, create a more sculpted appearance, and achieve a more balanced and harmonious facial profile. The hyaluronic acid in the filler also helps stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin elasticity and firmness over time, which can further enhance the appearance of the jawline. The procedure is typically well-tolerated with the use numbing creams to minimise discomfort. The duration of the effects varies depending on factors such as the type of filler used and individual metabolism, but generally, results can last from 6 to 12 months.
